First Step Recovery & Wellness Center is located in the northeast corner of the Westfield Gateway Mall. It is a large white building directly East of Aspen Fitness Club and North of JC Penneys. Our offices are located on the third floor, just to your left as you step off the elevator.

How much is an adult or adolescent evaluation?

The cost for a substance abuse evaluation evaluation for both adults and adolescents is $150 however we offer a substantial sliding fee scale discount for private paying or low income individuals.

How much are Alcohol & Drug Education Classes?

First Step offers alcohol & drug education classes for both adolescents & adults at our Greentree location. Classes cost $135.00 and include 15 hours of education.

What are my payment options?

 

We accept cash payments, personal & business checks, as well as Visa, Discover and MasterCard.

We also have a sliding fee scale, low monthly payment plans available and are a preferred provider for Blue Cross-Blue Shield (BCBS) and United Behavioral Health (UBH/UHC). Our professional billing staff will also submit your insurance and provide a full explanation of benefits.

What if the weather is bad?

In the event of bad weather, First Step will make a decision as follows:

  • Adolescent Groups: decision by 2:00 pm
  • AM Groups: decision by 8:00 am
  • PM Groups: decision by 5:00 pm
  • Please note that if Lincoln Public Schools is closed due to weather First Step will not be having groups that day

You may call the office to verify at 434-2730. Our voicemail will reflect our closing status. In the event of a closing, First Step will notify KLIN and KFOR radio.
